- Do — keep clear space ≥ the height of the symbol on all sides.
- Do — use the mark on sand or white backgrounds, or the white variant on dark backgrounds.
- Don’t — recolour, stretch, rotate, or add effects to the mark.
- Don’t — place the mark on busy photos without a scrim.
02 · Name
Write it IKIGAI SAILING
The brand name is set in all capitals in every email, message and communication. The capitals are intentional — for branding and readability. The boat name “Ikigai” on its own and the sign-off “the Ikigai crew” keep normal case.

How we sound
- Warm, first-person-plural crew voice — “we anchor”, “our galley”.
- Brief and concrete: prices, dates, specs, places — never vague.
- Calm and unhurried; the sea sets the pace.
- Non-profit framing: payments are member contributions to an ASD, not charter fees.
- No hype, no AI-slop, no exclamation spam.
- Inclusive and grounded — dreamers, divers, sailors, beginners welcome.
