The Catana 47 is designed to enjoy comfort and space without giving up the thrill of sailing and the sea. It is a high-performance catamaran capable of maintaining high speeds on long crossings and moving easily even in light winds, while its spacious interiors guarantee comfort in all weather conditions. Today it welcomes up to 6 guests in three guest cabins, with separate crew quarters.

Why we chose the Catana 47 for bluewater sailing
We didn’t pick this boat from a brochure. We picked her for the miles we knew were coming: the Mediterranean, the Atlantic crossing, the Caribbean, and one day the Pacific. A Catana 47 sails fast enough to choose her weather windows and keeps moving in light air, which means more hours under sail and fewer under engine.
At anchor she becomes something else: a stable platform that barely moves. That matters more than it sounds. Freediving recovery, yoga on deck, a full night’s sleep in a rolly anchorage: all of it depends on a hull that sits quietly in the water.
And then there’s the stern. Wide steps that put you a metre from the sea, so the distance between waking up and being in the water is about ten barefoot paces. For a home built around breath, water and movement, that is the whole point.
Cabins & layout
- 2 double cabins — configurable with two single beds or one large double bed

At the bow are the crew cabin, the sail locker, and a dedicated storage cabin for sports equipment. At the stern, the large cockpit table lowers to create another spacious double bed.
Galley
Since we are passionate about good food — and former professional restaurateurs — the kitchen plays a central role on board. It is equipped with:
- Bread maker — because fresh bread every day is priceless
- Magma XL barbecue — the star of countless cookouts, especially after a lucky fishing trip
- 4-burner stove, stainless-steel gas oven, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, fresh-pasta machine, blender and more
- Automatic coffee machine with integrated grinder
- Drinking-water system dispensing sparkling or still water, cold or at room temperature
Energy & autonomy
In terms of energy, we are completely self-sufficient:

We also carry 2 watermakers producing 150 L/h, plus a washing machine.
