01 · What data we hold

IKIGAI SAILING ASD operates a Meta (Facebook & Instagram) application called Ikigai Social, used only to manage our own business accounts (Facebook Page “Ikigaisailing” and Instagram @ikigaisailing_asd). Through it we may process, for the sole purpose of answering you and running our own social presence:

• public comments you leave on our posts, and your public username / profile picture;
• direct messages you send to our Facebook Page or Instagram account, and their contents;
• basic profile information Meta exposes for a conversation (name, Meta-scoped user ID).

We never sell this data, never use it for advertising profiling, and never share it with third parties beyond Meta’s own platform. Full details: Privacy Policy.

02 · How to request deletion

To have all data associated with your Facebook/Instagram identity deleted from our systems, email [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”, from any address, and include:

• your Facebook or Instagram username (e.g. @yourhandle);
• a one-line confirmation that you are the owner of that account.

You do not need an account with us, a password, or any form. A single email is enough.

03 · What happens next

We delete the associated messages, comment records and any stored profile data within 30 days and email you to confirm. Some records may be retained only where the law requires it (e.g. accounting obligations for a completed booking) — we will tell you if that applies.

You can also remove our app’s access to your Meta data at any time from Instagram / Facebook → Settings → Apps and websites.
