Here is the list of places visited by Ikigai Sailing during its journey around the world, with a brief description of each:

We're Setting Sail!
- July – Rome, Italy The starting point of the journey, with an emotional farewell to the Italian capital, which rich in history and culture.
- August – Sardinia, Italy The island’s rugged coastline and crystal-clear waters provided breathtaking scenery and smooth sailing.
- September – Balearic Islands, Spain Exploring islands famous for pristine beaches, hidden coves, and vibrant energy, especially Mallorca and Ibiza.
- October – Almerimar, Spain A technical stop dedicated to boat preparation and maintenance for the challenges of the Atlantic.
- November – Gibraltar The “gateway to the Atlantic,” where the crew prepared for the crossing to the Canary Islands.
- December – Cape Verde (15-18 December) A short but intense stop in the tropical islands, rich in Creole culture and volcanic landscapes.

Atlantic Crossing
- Saint Martin A Caribbean island, half French and half Dutch, known for its stunning beaches and European-Caribbean cultural blend.
- Virgin Islands A dreamlike archipelago with calm bays, perfect for sailing and diving.
- Barbuda Pink sandy beaches and untouched nature, are a true tropical paradise.
- Antigua Famous for its 365 days of sunshine and as many beaches, a place with a strong nautical history.
- Guadeloupe A butterfly-shaped island known for its biodiversity and crystal-clear waters ideal for snorkeling.
- Dominica The “Nature Island of the Caribbean,” with lush rainforests, breathtaking waterfalls, and a welcoming culture.
- Martinique A perfect fusion of French and Caribbean influences, with volcanic landscapes and black sand beaches.
- Grenada The “Spice Island,” is famous for its nutmeg plantations and golden beaches.
- Saint Vincent A mountainous, lush island with an authentic and wild charm.

Next, we’ll head to Colombia, then pass through the Panama Canal to reach the Pacific…

The Journey Continues
Our adventure will take us to the Galapagos Islands, the Marquesas, Tahiti, and Fiji, eventually reaching northern Australia. Then, we’ll sail up to Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, and the Maldives, before crossing the Indian Ocean toward India and Dubai.
From there, we’ll follow the coastlines of Oman and Yemen into the Red Sea, passing Sudan and Egypt, before re-entering the Mediterranean via the Suez Canal, concluding our exploration.
