Description

A CONCENTRATE OF AUTHENTIC, ESSENTIAL, AND REGENERATIVE LIFE

In 10 days, we will guide you through powerful and transformative practices. This retreat is unique thanks to our multidisciplinary instructors, certified by Yoga Alliance, AIDA International, Apnea Total, and IKO International, who guarantee the highest competence and safety in every activity: from yoga to breathwork, freediving to kitesurfing. Our RYA Yacht Master skipper will lead you aboard our high-performance Catana 47 catamaran, ensuring thrilling and safe journeys in this aquatic paradise.

Combined with the energy of the elements, outdoor living, and the healing power of water, this experience is designed to deeply restore your physical and mental well-being. With our all-inclusive, worry-free formula, every detail is taken care of to allow you to fully immerse yourself.

Here, in an unspoiled paradise that feels like a parallel dimension, you will have the chance to live in harmony with nature, far from the noise of modern civilization. A rare opportunity to reconnect with what is essential, authentic, and alive.

We will live immersed in the wild beauty of the Guna Yala archipelago, where sea, wind, and sun become precious allies in a profound process of inner rebalancing.
Each night you will be rocked by the waves, each morning you will wake with the sun. Our days will follow the rhythm of nature, a rhythm that gently recalibrates the nervous system, lifts the mood, restores deep sleep, and awakens vitality.

Every day will be a journey outward and inward, a return to what truly matters. At dawn, we will begin with meditation, yoga, and mindful breathing. We will train body and mind in harmony with sessions of freediving, swimming on the coral reef, and conscious movement on the deck or the beaches of a remote island. We will silently glide on turquoise waters in kayaks or stand-up paddleboards, explore uninhabited islets, sail between hidden anchorages, and visit Guna communities for authentic exchanges, listening to ancient stories and witnessing a culture deeply symbiotic with nature. We might encounter dolphins, nurse sharks, and other wild wonders inhabiting these crystal-clear waters, allowing their presence to soften our defenses and awaken our sense of wonder.

You will explore the regenerative power of water not only through freediving but also with practices inspired by water, rooted in therapeutic touch and presence. You will learn to breathe more deeply, calm your mind, and listen inwardly every time your body slips beneath the surface.

Our meals will be simple and nourishing, prepared with care and love, using fresh, unprocessed ingredients. We will nurture what is real, gently releasing what has been artificially imposed. There will be time to slow down, truly listen to yourself, and reconnect with your primal senses.

On board, we will cultivate relationships founded on kindness, mutual respect, and deep listening. Together, we will create a shared space of presence, authenticity, and meaningful connection. And when the time comes to return to land, you will carry with you more than just memories: you will have the imprint of a simpler, more vivid life, and perhaps a clearer inner compass to guide your next steps.

Because this is not just an escape. It is a return.

Logistic

Your journey to IKIGAI begins with your arrival at Tocumen International Airport (PTY) in Panama City, with flights typically scheduled for the afternoon or evening. Because of this, an overnight stay in the capital will be necessary, offering you the perfect opportunity to explore the city and perhaps stroll through the charming alleys of Casco Viejo, its UNESCO World Heritage historic center. The choice of hotel is entirely up to you, ensuring maximum flexibility. Transfers from the airport to your hotel and back are included, as are the round-trip transfers to the San Blas Islands.

The following morning, a private taxi shuttle will pick you up directly from your hotel, driving you towards the Caribbean coast. After about two and a half hours traveling through the picturesque Guna Yala forest, a local boat will take you to IKIGAI, where you’ll arrive around 10:30 AM.

At the end of your stay, on departure day, you’ll follow the same route in reverse: a local boat will pick you up from IKIGAI at dawn, taking you to the mainland, where a taxi shuttle will drive you directly to the airport, in time for your return flight.

The entire journey will be organized by us in collaboration with trusted local contacts, guaranteeing you smooth and secure logistics from the beginning to the end of your experience. For any special needs, such as early flights, delays, or extended stays, please let us know in advance so we can find the most suitable solution together.

DETAILED PROGRAM

10 Days Experience aboard Ikigai

Introduction

Every proposed activity is highly recommended, but never mandatory. The invitation is to step out of your comfort zone, try new experiences, and strengthen your discipline — while also listening deeply to your body and its needs. This experience is designed to help you explore the balance between commitment and listening, between discipline and freedom. No expectations, no performance — just the opportunity to reconnect with yourself, others, and the natural rhythm of life.

Daily Routine

Morning (approx. 1h30): Each day begins with a guided session that may include:

  • Conscious breathing techniques
  • Dynamic or restorative yoga flows
  • Seated or moving meditation
  • Rotating physical sessions (Tabata bodyweight workout or boxing basics) All sessions adapt to group energy and weather.

Evening: End the day with activities focused on introspection, relaxation, and regeneration, including:

  • Sunset yoga
  • Meditation
  • Silent or circle sharing (depending on the group and location)

Free Time: Breaks between activities are intentionally left open — for rest, reading, swimming, silence, or spontaneous moments. There’s nothing to do but be.

Life on Board & Food

Food is at the heart of life on Ikigai. We blend what the sea provides with what we trade from the Guna community:

  • Fresh lobster
  • Tropical fruits
  • Local vegetables

We fish when possible and prepare creative dishes: carpaccio, tartare, sashimi, and more. Sharing meals is sacred. You’re welcome to join in the preparation — in full community spirit, no obligation.

Important Note

The program may be adjusted based on:

  • Weather and sea conditions
  • Logistical factors
  • Group dynamics

Every change aims to preserve the safety and quality of the experience.
