The Great Pacific Crossing
From Panama to the Marquesas Islands – March 2027
A rare, intense, unrepeatable experience.
Setting off on an ocean crossing is something that goes beyond sailing.
It’s a leap into the unknown, an act of trust.
It’s reconnecting with the rhythm of the wind, the night, and your inner world.

In March 2027, Ikigai will leave the coasts of Panama to cross the Pacific Ocean.
An epic journey of over 30 days of sailing, through one of the most remote and pristine areas on the planet.

🚩 The Itinerary
Departure: late February 2027 – Guna Yala Archipelago (Panama)
After months in the San Blas Islands, we’ll set sail southwest.
The first 1,000 miles will take us to the Galápagos, reached after around 10 days of open ocean.
These will be days of wind, waves, moonlight, and silence. Days of transformation.

A short stop among the volcanic islands to touch land, restock, and prepare for the bigger leap:
The 3,000-mile crossing to the Marquesas Islands, in the heart of French Polynesia.
Estimated 20 days of non-stop sailing, where the ocean becomes home, horizon, and teacher.

🌺 This is not a vacation.
It’s a life experience.
Those who join this crossing will be part of the crew.
They will share shifts, maneuvers, cooking, navigation, silences, and sunrises.
And they’ll be part of something rare: a community sailing into the unknown with open hearts.

You don’t need advanced sailing skills—just adaptability, the ability to listen, and a willingness to be transformed.

🌒 Why do it?
To truly feel what time means, when it’s no longer ruled by notifications but by waves.
To look at the night sky with no artificial light, and find your true direction.
To be part of something greater, something real.
To live the essence of the ocean—and discover your own.
