We are a non-profit amateur sports association recognized by CONI and affiliated with the MSP Italia Sports Promotion Body
A growing community of dreamers, sailors, freedivers, scuba divers, kitesurfers and sports enthusiasts in general, united by a passion for the sea, freedom and good food.
Our experiences include offshore sailing and ocean crossings to new destinations and relaxing weeks cruising to familiar locales, where we can pursue our many other passions beyond sailing.
IKIGAI SAILING
it's a vision, it's a sailing boat that slowly moves to the most beautiful places
beautiful people of the planet, is to return to a life in nature according to nature, is the practice of activities
sports, it is a passion for cooking, it is a vocation for travel and adventure, it is a
community in motion, is a dimension parallel to modern society,
a break from the Matrix
The idea is to take a round-the-world sailing trip while practicing and teaching our passions by promoting a healthy lifestyle, in nature, according to nature.
Sailing around the world
The project started from Rome sailing in the Mediterranean Sea starting in July and throughout the 2022 summer season, starting from Sardinia and ending in Almerimar (Spain) where we finished preparing the boat for the Atlantic Ocean. (Read the summary post of the summer season).
Next, we passed Gibraltar to arrive in the Canary Islands and cross the Atlantic Ocean to reach St. Marteen (Caribbean) in January 2023.

We explored the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean, from the BVI to Grenada, for two long seasons before continuing westward to the Los Roques archipelago, Venezuela and the Netherlands Antilles, where we are currently (September 2024).
Colombia awaits us shortly, poilo straits of Panama to meet the Pacific...it will then be the turn of Galapagos Islands, Marquesas Islands, Tahiti and Fiji to arrive on the northern coast of Australia. We then go up Indonesia to get to Thailand then Sri Lanka, Maldives to meet the Indian Ocean then India to Dubai.
We descend to skirt Oman and Yemen to enter the Red Sea skirting Sudan and Egypt to enter the Mediterranean again through the Suez Strait and conclude with its exploration....
"Only the direction is real, the goal is always fictitious, even once reached ... actually, most of all once reached."

WHAT IS IKIGAI
The term Ikigai can be translated with the Italian expression "reason for living" and represents in Japanese culture "the reason for waking up in the morning".
According to this philosophy everyone should find their own Ikigai by making an important effort of internal research, to achieve the deepest satisfaction in their life.
Applying Ikigai means using a real compass, useful for transforming one's individual purpose and professional skills into a project that manages, at the same time, to have a social impact and realize economic benefits.
Applying the concept of Ikigai we see that the goal of every winning project is to ensure that four elements intersect: what you can get paid for, what you are good at, what the world needs and what you love
